Dawn began working in the Real Estate Business
over 30 years ago working directly for a large
bank. With the advent of State Certification, she was
part of the first wave of “Certified” appraisers in
California. In the early ’90’s Dawn ventured
into independent appraisal and started
Bambrick & Associates. In 1995 Rick joined her
in that business and took the old paper-based
appraisal concept into the future with converting
most of the process into digital format. When our
family grew, Dawn left the business to Rick to run,
and he diversified the business from just
Residential appraisal work into, Appraisal Review,
Legal support and began working directly with
FNMA during the housing crisis whereby we
supplied reviews directly to FNMA in support of
improving the appraisal process.
Both Rick and Dawn are FHA approved and
Certified with various organizations, such as
NAREA, Na/Ra/Mu and NAIFA.
The future of the company, now called
Bambrick Appraisals, has taken us to diversify yet
again into the agricultural appraisal market
whereby we now appraise rural properties,
land and farms.

Rick and Dawn Bambrick have been married over 35 years and have raised two exceptional children. Now residing in Paris, Arkansas they are natives of the Southern California area. Now residing in Arkansas, they have brought their market excellence and experience gathered in the highly competitive and diverse California Real Estate Market to the state of Arkansas.
Using the techniques honed during their tenure as appraisers in California, Rick and Dawn became leaders in the appraisal industry as they have appraised everything from small manufactured homes in rural desert home sites, to gigantic modern estates in Beverly Hills and cliffside, oceanfront homes along the beaches populating the coast of California. They have appraised multi-million dollar homes as well as bank foreclosures, pre-foreclosures, bank seized homes, government (city, state and federal) seized homes, assessed homes damaged in earthquakes, fires and storms. Rick is certified in 'green' appraising, environmental hazard valuation and has certificates in valuation of photovoltaic (solar panel) systems.
Being in the industry over 30 years the team has experienced several housing market dilemmas where prices rapidly inflated over a short period of time to extreme market deflation in just as short of a period. As a result, Rick and Dawn have the experience to appraise in both increasing and declining markets with complete confidence in valuing homes in these extreme environments. They were able to weather the tide of the savings and loan crisis 1990s as well as the sub-prime mortgage crisis in 2008 and 2010 by lending their expertise directly the Federal National Mortgage Association (FNMA) to route out fraud in the lending/appraisal industry.

We work as independent fee appraisers with over 50 Appraisal Management firms nationwide and provide review work for several of the leading appraisal review firms across the nation.
We are State Certified Appraisers in Arkansas, California and Oklahoma with retrospective certification across the nation. We provide reviews in all states.
Currently we only perform hybrid or desktop analysis in California, but full services in Arkansas and Oklahoma.
